Mark H. Scovill
Chief Experience Officer

Mark H. Scovill is a senior defense strategist, executive leader, and former naval officer with more than three decades of experience leading complex organizations and operations across national security, defense services, and the maritime industry. As Chief Experience Officer at Intrepid Defense Partners, he helps translate strategy into execution while strengthening the company's operational discipline and the experience it creates for customers, partners, and employees.

Prior to joining Intrepid, Mark spent nearly a decade at Prevailance, Inc., where he served as Partner and Vice President of Strategic Development. He led corporate growth, program execution, and talent development across multiple Navy mission areas while overseeing distributed teams providing engineering, training, and operational support. Earlier in his civilian career, Mark held executive leadership positions in the maritime transportation industry, with responsibility for fleet readiness, safety, compliance, and operational performance in high-consequence environments.

Mark's professional foundation is a distinguished 30-year career in the United States Navy. He commanded at every level from ship to squadron and served in senior operational and staff leadership positions around the world. His service included combat deployments, multinational operations, large-scale disaster response, and joint and regional assignments involving complex organizations, significant resources, and cross-government coordination.

Across those roles, Mark developed a leadership approach centered on readiness, disciplined execution, accountability, and the performance of teams under pressure. He brings that practitioner's perspective to Intrepid, connecting strategy, people, and execution and helping ensure that good ideas become measurable outcomes.

Mark holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a master's degree in Foreign Relations from Salve Regina University. He is also a graduate of the Naval War College and Joint Forces Staff College.
