John Owens, CEO

John recently co-founded and served as CEO of Ingenetech Corporation, a commercial enterprise established to advance high-quality engineering and manufacturing.  Prior to that he served as Chairman and CEO of Prevailance, Inc. from 2006 to 2021, leading the company to an average annual growth rate of over 20% and earning multiple awards for leadership, growth, and innovation. He founded Prevailance Aerospace, LLC in 2015; under his leadership it became the nation’s premier Upset Prevention and Recovery training facility before its acquisition in 2018. He also served as CTO of Excelsior, LTD, an international technology and venture consulting firm.

John’s 24-year military career includes enlistment in the U.S. Marines, followed by a commission as a U.S. Navy.  His multiple deployments as an F-14 Tomcat fighter pilot were followed by operational tours in the Joint, NATO, and Cyber Operations warfare areas.

Larry Slade, COO

In 2022 Larry co-founded Ingenetech, a precision manufacturing firm, and led the subsequent acquisition of High-Tech Machine MFG, a custom metal and plastic manufacturing company.  Prior to that he co-founded and served for 15 years as the COO of Prevailance, Inc., a government contracting firm, and was instrumental in growing the company to over 150 employees with an annual revenue of over $20M.  During this time Larry also co-founded Prevailance Aerospace, LLC, a company established to provide advanced aviation safety training - after bringing the company to steady state operations he sold his stake in the company in 2017.   

Larry’s 23-year Navy career included multiple combat deployments flying the F-14 Tomcat.  In 1991 he was shot down on a night strike during Desert Storm and remained a prisoner of war until the war ended.  He ended his career with several Joint and Navy staff assignments before he retired as a Captain in 2007.
